“Buttercup” was pseudo inspired by the technique I attempted with this piece.  In this journey to expose myself to new heights - I took a subject close to me... And the result is a portrait of someone whom I wish could to say “the moment will still go on.” 

With this piece my goal was not to simply do a portrait - instead it was again to try to capture a myriad of looks and thoughts of someone whom I fell for. Layer after layer of metallics and use of contrasting colors - again I create a piece that at least for me - every angle upon which I view it - I remember a look, a memory. 

The title is well - symbolic as well, as whom ever gets the answer of why a shooting star escapes the way it came.  Sometimes, that is just how life goes and to you my love - I wish I was riding that little star with you...
